How to get your new website indexed in 24 hrs or less.
When we build a new website, we want it to be up and running as quickly as possible. There are a lot of website submission services, for which you need to pay, but at the beginning every dollar counts and we want to spend money wise.
To get your website indexed by Google is the first step to SEO success. Here are few tips how to get your website indexed by Google, Yahoo and other search engines in one day:
1. Write articles and submit them to popular article directories like EzineArticles and GoArticles – include your website URL in your article author’s resource box.
2. Submit a XML sitemap file to Google – it includes links to every page of your website. Once you submit it to Google, you notify them about your website and they will send their robots to index every page of it.
3. Submit your website to a list of directories such as DMOZ, Yahoo directory and BOTW. Google crawlers visit these directories every day and index your site quickly. Please remember that not all directories are free.
4. Place your website URL on social networking sites – sites like Twitter, Facebook and Myspace are regularly indexed by search engines. When your URL is placed on these sites, it allows robots to discover your site and index it quickly.
5. Important links will get your website index very quickly – for example, if you have a link to CNN, Google will index within one hour, so the more important links the better.
6. Videos uploaded to a site or blog are indexed quicker than text.
7. Use blogging as an indexing tool , blogs are crawled every day, and can be indexed within 5 hrs of being created. Include links to your website and Google robots will check this link fast.
8. Social bookmarking sites get indexed real fast by search engines like Google and they provide backlinks to your site. Google checks them out and will provide better and faster indexing.
Favourite social bookmarking site is Digg.com – easy to use, can use videos and pictures with text, include link to your website. Other sites are StumbleUpon and Del.icio. By getting a link on sites that are regularly indexed by search engine robots, it will ensure that your website get indexed quickly.
